Healthcare Division
· HMI completes acquisition of an additional 8.95% equity stake in Mahkota Medical Centre (“MMC”) in Malacca, Malaysia, bringing HMI’s total stake to 48.95%.
· MMC was awarded the Export Excellent Services (Medical) Award for 2006 by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (“MATRADE”).
·
MMC expanded its range of services with a newly acquired 64-slice CT scanner.
· MMC launched two new marketing offices in Jakarta, Indonesia. This brings the total number of marketing offices in Indonesia to 7.
· HMI completed the acquisition of the remaining 35% equity stake in Premier Healthcare Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd (“PHCM”), which owns Regency Specialist Hospital in Johor, Malaysia, on 4 May 2007. With the 35% acquisition, the Group now owns 100% of the issued and paid up capital of PHCM.
· HMI completed the acquisition of a 65% equity stake in PHCM on 30 April 2007.
Education Division
· HMI Institute of Health Sciences (“IHS”) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) with Linyi People’s Hospital to train 300 nurses per year for international placements. The MOA signing ceremony was witnessed by the Vice Mayor of Shandong province.
· IHS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Linyi People’s Hospital for the training of nurses for international placements. The MOU signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr Li Yi Shyan, the Minister of State for Trade and Industry of Singapore and key Singapore and Chinese government officials.

Healthcare Division

MMC was awarded the Melaka Tourism Award 2005 for Best Health Tourism Product by Tourism Malaysia and The Malacca State Government.
Education Division
· HMI completed a private placement of 57,000,000 new ordinary shares with net proceeds of S$5.1 million to further develop the Group’s Education Division and for working capital of the Group. The placement shares represent approximately 19.9% of the existing issued share capital of the Company, and were issued at an issue price of $0.05 per placement share.
· IHS was awarded CaseTrust for Education on 8 November 2005.
· IHS signed an agreement with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (“RMIT”) University to offer the Bachelor of Nursing (Advanced Standing) program in Singapore.
FY2005
Healthcare Division
· Successful completion of hospital management and equipment consultancy contracts with Grand Hospital Bengkalis, a 150-bed hospital in Indonesia.
Education Division
· IHS launched the first intake of the Singapore National Skills Recognition System (“NSRS”) accredited Health Care Assistant Course with Tan Tock Seng Hospital (“TTSH”) on 8 May 2006.
· IHS signed a MOU with the National University Hospital of Singapore (“NUH”) to develop the Health Care Assistant Course in January 2006, and obtained NSRS accreditation and course funding approvals in April 2006.
· IHS launched the first intake of the NSRS accredited Outpatient Clinic Assistant Course.
· IHS obtained renewal of the Approved Training Centre (“ATC”) and Approved Assessment Centre (“AAC”) status from NSRS, for the conduct of training and assessments leading to the award of nationally recognized skill certificates.
