Mahkota Medical Centre is a 228-bed private tertiary care hospital. It is located within the major business district and tourist area of Malacca, Malaysia.

Mahkota provides a comprehensive one-stop patient care service supported by diagnostic radiology and clinical laboratory facilities. Among the facilities are:


- a 9-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

- a 4-bed Coronary Care Unit

- a 5-bed Cardiac Care Unit

- 12 Operating Theatres

Presently, there are 56 full-time medical specialists practicing a full spectrum of surgical and medical disciplines. It also has the following dedicated facilities: In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) Centre, Cancer Centre, Renal Dialysis Centre, Rehabilitation Centre and Health Screening Centre.

Mahkota has a good reputation for its quality healthcare services in neighbouring countries and continues to attract a large number of foreign patients from Indonesia and Brunei in particular. It also provides nationally certified nurse training through the Mahkota Nursing College. The College is a Malaysian Nursing Board approved training centre that trains nurses for both the public and private Malaysian healthcare sector. Currently, Mahkota Nursing College offers a three-year Diploma in Nursing Course for those seeking to enter the healthcare profession.
